We will promptly begin working on your case. To facilitate the process of retrieving your funds, there are a few additional details that you need to provide to the Texas Comptroller. We will send the complete package to the address provided above and/or email it to your designated email address.
Waiting for approval
After submitting all the necessary information, please note that the Comptroller of Public Accounts may take approximately 4-6 weeks to process your case. During this time, you can track the progress of your case online for your convenience.
To track the progress of your case, you can utilize the Claim ID provided in the package we sent you earlier. This unique identifier will allow you to easily monitor the status of your claim. Tracking my case.
Can I pay after I retrieve my properties?
Yes, of course! Please fill out the form we sent to you and either mail it or scan and email it back to us. We will process your case promptly.
